Sisu

Combining the aesthetics of Finnish Lapland and World War Two, the Finnish action film Sisu is a long waited return of writer director Jalmari Helander (Rare Exports, Big game). Sisu tells the story of a gold-digger who must escape a Nazi death squad during the Lapland War. This gripping and unusual drama features scenes of bombers flying through clear Nordic nights and promises to enthrall audiences worldwide.
